Daniel's journey in the sports business has started when he was 12 years old printing brand logos on Bundesliga jerseys in the sports goods company of his uncle. 18 years later he has graduated in sports management and has a vast experience in sports marketing, sponsoring sales and loyalty working for brands, clubs, leagues, agencies and startups in sports (JAKO, Eintracht Frankfurt, FC Augsburg, DFL, SPORTFIVE/Lagardère Sports, Fanmiles). With his focus on digital and technology, Lagardére Sports sent Daniel to develop the business for Fanmiles, the loyalty & retention technology start-up in sports. After starting four years ago, today Fanmiles successfully runs the loyalty programs and campaigns of partners like Schalke 04, Bayer 04 Leverkusen, Marco Reus, Philipp Lahm, INTERSPORT, bet-at-home, ESL or adidas.
In order to share his knowledge in digital sports marketing, Daniel founded Sports Maniac and hosts the two leading sports business podcasts in Germany (Sports Maniac Podcast & SPONSORs Podcast).
